E Towles Road Drainage Outfall Project

This project will include the replacement of the existing 84” stormdrain that has started leaking at the joints, and major inlets along the pipeline. Approximately 173 lineal feet of the 84” drainage pipe will be replaced and the reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) material will be supplied by Putnam County. The existing outfall headwall is in excellent condition and will continue to be utilized. Base Bid Approximately 55 lineal feet of concrete erosion protection will be placed immediately downstream of the headwall. An existing neighborhood inlet will be replaced and connected to the mainline with 56 lineal feet of 18” HDPE, 24 lineal feet of 24” HDPE and a manhole. The project will include replacement of all pavement and turf disturbed by construction. The proposed project is located in Putnam County, Florida along the intersection of Old Jacksonville Road and E. Towles Road of Palatka Florida. The Base Bid portion of this project is being funded thru Florida Department of Transportation Small County Outreach Program (SCOP), FIN # 442645-1-54-01 Alternate Bid The project will include replacement of approximately 42 SY of sidewalk disturbed by construction and installation of concrete jacket on failing pipe joints. If the Alternate Bid portion of this project is funded, it will be funded through Putnam County Funds.
