Description | As of 12/29/2022 They anticipate now that a contract will be awarded at their January 17th council meeting. As of 12/19/2022 It’s anticipated the low bid will be awarded the contract at our Dec 20th city council meeting. Start and end date are to be determined. The City of New London, WI will be hiring a contractor to install Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring at the New London Fire Station (215 North Shawano Street). You are hereby invited to bid on a floor surface coating installation project at the New London Municipal Building- Fire Department Vehicle Bays. The project encompasses spot repairs of the surface and the installation of a resinous flooring on approximately 6,557 square feet of existing concrete. The awarded contractor shall agree to the following specifications for this project: o Grind floor to increase bonding capacity to new surface o Repair defects in the floor with polyurea mender o Apply aliphatic polyurea basecoat after moisture tests o Torginol's 1/4 " chip full broadcast o Add safety lines to replace existing parking lines Vinyl plank shall have a minimum overall thickness of 4.5 mm with a wear layer 12 mil or greater. Flooring must have color options for the same quoted price. Contractor will be required to supply and install flooring and all materials for the project. Quotes will be reviewed and contract will be awarded to the vendor whose quote is most responsive to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the City of New London, considering price, quality and other factors. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all quotes.
