Description | WOOLFORD STREET IMPROVEMENTS CITY OF SEAFORD DELAWARE CONTRACT DURATION: 90 CALENDAR DAYS Work consists of the following: furnishing and installing approximately 290 linear feet of 15-inch RCP storm drain including 7 vertical feet of catch basins; 4,110 square feet of concrete sidewalk; 3 ADA ramps; 1,855 square yards of Bituminous Concrete Type C; 250 square yards of Bituminous Concrete Type B; 2,171 square yards of profile milling; 1,118 lineal feet of Type 1-4 curb; 320 lineal feet of Type 1-6 curb; striping and thermoplastic crosswalks; signage; and restoration. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Seaford may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. Contractors who submit a bid on this project shall be qualified and experienced in projects of similar size, type and complexity. Each BID must be accompanied by a Contractor Qualification Statement, which shall present evidence of successfully completing three (3) or more similar construction projects within the last five (5) years. Provide project name and location, owner contact information, project description, change order history, construction cost and completion date. Contractors who submit a bid on this project must note the soonest acceptable date of Notice to Proceed on the BID FORM. Contractor schedule can factor into bid award decision. The OWNER desires work to be completed while nearby schools are vacant for summer break. Current Delaware State Prevailing Wage Rates apply on this project and are contained in the Bidding Documents. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any and all bids. |
