Facade Renovation 151 South Main Street

Sealed proposals for the renovation of the façade at 151 South Main Street, Canandaigua, New York, 14424 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Scope of Work: This project consist of phase 1 of the renovation of the facade to 151 South Main Street, Canandaigua, New York. The work is limited to the full removal of the existing facade on the South Main Street face of the structure. This phase of the work is to leave the South Main Street face of the building in a stable condition that will not present a danger to the public nor a threat to the building itself. It is believed that the original brick facade of the structure is present underneath the current facade that is to be removed. However, the full details of what is beneath this existing facade are not known. The contractor will be responsible for: o the removal of the existing facade; o all clean-up and disposal of the materials removed; o ensuring that the remaining building facade is stable; o protection of pedestrian and vehicular traffic during the work; o obtaining all necessary permits for the work.
