Description

The HVAC system shall be replaced and enhanced for long term energy efficiency and improved air quality for the building occupants. Particular emphasis is to be placed on air exchange and exhaust to protect 911 call center employees from contagion. The Design Build contractor (and his/her engineer) proposal shall provide, at a minimum, MERV-13 minimum filtration, six air exchanges per hour minimum air exchange and UC Ultraviolet light and/or Needlepoint B1 polar ionization units.
