General Transfer Station Project Components: The TJWTS project consists of the following conceptual components, but not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Transfer Station Building: a. Conceptually sized at 46,000 square feet, with 28’ tall interior heights to the lowest hanging components. b. Tunnel for transfer vehicles. c. Two (2) loadout ports for top loading transfer trailers. d. Includes 15’ tall concrete push wall with embedded steel plates to 6’ above finished floor. e. Concrete reinforced tipping floor. f. Fast acting roll-up doors for commercial and residential entrances. g. Fire system room, misting system/odor control room. h. Operations Building: i Operations building attached to north side of transfer station. 2. Maintenance Building: a. Maintenance building attached to south side of transfer station. b. Other small site structures and site construction c. Scale house and booths d. Freestanding Canopies e. Recycling area 3. Site Construction a. Existing sewer relocation b. Culinary water loop c.
