Lift Station 23 Upgrades and Force Main Replacement

The work to be done consists of the following generally described items: • Approximately 6,200 LF of 30” FPVC sanitary forcemain carrier pipe and 36” steel casing installed by horizontal directional drilling under historic downtown. • Approximately 300 LF of 30” FPVC sanitary forcemain carrier pipe and 36” steel casing installed by micro-tunneling under the Springfield drainage canal. • Approximately 400 LF of 30” DIP interconnecting sanitary forcemain pipe installed by direct bury. • Two (2) new submersible mixer/chopper pumps and motor control center. • Demolition and replacement of existing electrical service, generator, and automatic transfer switch. • Miscellaneous equipment, materials, services, and site work necessary to complete the project as described in the contract documents.
