Elevator Modernization

Goals: 25% Small and Minority owned businesses and 25% Minority, Women and/or Disabled owned businesses. To perform replacement and/or modernization of elevators in two (2) Municipal Buildings: 1. Three (3) elevators at the Waterbury Police Department HQ Building, located at 255 East Main St. 2. Two (2) elevators in the Jefferson Square Building located at 185 South Main St. The City will require non-proprietary elevator systems. The systems will require no special interfaces, diagnostic tools, devices or test equipment to maintain or trouble shoot. All components will connect directly to the control systems without any unique manufacturer protocol. It is the intent of the City to issue future Requests for Proposal for the replacement and/or modernization of up to fourteen (14) additional elevators located within various other municipal buildings and city parking garages. However, the elevators included in Task 1 and Task 2 will be the focus of this Request for Proposal and any award or contract resulting from the RFP will be solely for the elevators described in Task 1 and Task 2.

Division 21 -	Fire Suppression.
Division 22 -	Plumbing.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
