Adams Lake Basketball Court Project

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code to the aforesaid Board of Commissioners of Adams County, Ohio; or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in an amount not less than 5 % of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid The Adams County Land Reutilization of Adams County, Ohio. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide such surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than April 30, 2023, unless otherwise authorized in writing from the Adams County Land Reutilization Board. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972 and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Itemized bids will be reviewed for acceptance based on the total bid submittal. The specifications are as follows: furnish all labor and materials for 60'x94'x4" concrete slab for basketball court. Price includes all excavating and prep work. Concrete consists of 4000 psi and 1/2 " rebar on 4ft. centers. Site is to be clean of all debris. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Adams County Land Reutilization of Adams County, Ohio, reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
