Description | The work for which proposals are invited consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and material for the widening of Grange Hall Road from Summerfield Drive to Kemp Road to three (3) lanes, curb and gutter, storm sewer, an eight (8) foot wide sidewalk along the west side and a five (5) foot sidewalk along the east side of Grange Hall Road, and all other work as may be necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bidders are required to obtain pre-qualification with the Ohio Department of Transportation, Office of Contracts, Contractor Qualifications Section, prior to the advertised project bid opening date. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on the Public Improvements in City of Beavercreek, Greene County, Ohio as determined by the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates. All steel and iron products furnished for this project shall be made in the United States and shall comply with all requirements of 23 CFR 635.410, ORC 153.011, ORC 5525.21 and all applicable requirements of Section 106.09 in the ODOT CMS. The City of Beavercreek reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the bidder who in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal. The City also reserves the right to hold all proposals for sixty (60) days. |
