Description Construction of water main and sewer main extensions to provide water and sewer service to approximately 221 homes and buildings in the Palm Lake Park Subdivision in Martin County, Florida. The proposed project area is generally described as properties adjacent to and within NW 9th Avenue and NW Antoch Avenue to the east,NW 12th Terrace to the south, NW Gerry Lane to the west and NW 16th Place to the north presently without availability of public water supply or sewage collection. The Contractor will need to furnish all equipment, materials, labor and supervision necessary to complete the water and sewer main extension project. The project includes construction of approximately 2,070 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water main, 15,145 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE water main, 335 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main, 190 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE water main, 23 fire hydrants and all associated water services, valves, fittings and appurtenances. The project also includes construction of approximately 5,645 linear feet of 2-inch HDPE force main, 5,879 linear feet of 3-inch HDPE force main, and 1,500 linear feet of 4-inch HDPE force main. The water main and force main will be installed by both horizontal directional drill and open cut.
