Description

The project includes installation of boulders for bank stabilization and fish habitat and removal of a gravel bar within the Swatara Creek. The project area is located in Pine Grove Borough and Pine Grove Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Work will involve placing the rock structures within the stream channel, removing the gravel bar from the site, erosion and sediment control plan implementation, and planting the site with native vegetation. All fill materials will be disposed of out of the floodplain and out of any wetlands.
