Description | This project shall consist of: furnishing and installing traffic signal system detection improvements at various intersections throughout the City of Federal Way, in support of its upcoming SCOOT Adaptive Signal Control (ASC) system. The bid price shall include everything necessary for the completion of the Contract and the Work including, but not limited to, furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, freight charges, facilities and all management, superintendence, labor and service, except as may be provided otherwise in the Contract Documents. All Washington State sales tax and other government taxes, assessments, and charges shall be included in the various Bid item prices as required by law. The offer shall remain in effect ninety (90) days after the bid opening. Base bid would be between $5550K-$575K The City anticipates awarding this project to the successful bidder and intends to give Notice to Proceed as soon as the Contract and all required documents are executed in full. Regardless of the date of award or Notice to Proceed, the Contractor must complete all work within 45 working days. Questions must be received by the City no later than 5:00 p.m. three business days preceding the bid opening to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
