Cross Charlotte Trail - 7th Street to 10th Street Connector

The project includes approximately 3,400 linear feet of the Cross Charlotte Trail between 7th Street and 10th Street. The project begins at the existing Cross Charlotte Trail/Little Sugar Creek Greenway at driveway of the Phillip L Van Every Culinary Arts Center (CPCC) on 7th Street, with a side-path that that runs south on the southern side of the street. The side-path transitions at the intersection to a two-way cycle track on Central Avenue, crossing over US-74. The lanes continue north along Prospect Street and then west along Jackson Avenue to where the trail transitions about to greenway. The greenway parallels I-277 northbound on-ramp northward toward 10th Street where the project work ends. Work includes construction of sidewalks, curb ramps, multi-use path, bike lanes, curb and gutter, pavement markings and signage, grading, erosion control, traffic control, paving, storm drainage and hardscaping.
