It is expected to take two years to create the final design & permitting in order to begin construction. Construction is anticipated to take two years to complete. Cary proposes to finance, construct, operate and maintain a 200,000- to 300,000-squarefoot multipurpose indoor sports complex with the primary purpose of attracting and hosting new youth, collegiate, and amateur sports events to Wake County. The facility would feature court space to accommodate 12 basketball courts (20 volleyball courts). It is designed for maximum flexibility, with a 4,000-seat capacity arena.
