| Description | Replace the roofing of multiple buildings on-campus as specified by the Project Manual and Construction Documents. The three roofs to be addressed in order of preference are the Fine Arts Building, Planetarium, and Porter Hall. Each roofing structure is unique to each building and the scope of work varies greatly in demolition, materials, etc.…. The Fine Arts Building scope: Removal of existing asphalt shingle roofing and EPDM valleys and install roof insulation and roof membrane. Repair damaged concrete roof decking. Refer to drawings for specific work required. Planetarium scope: Removal of existing elastomeric Roof coating and replace with new fully adhered EPDM roof membrane and additional roof insulation to provide R30 roof system. Refer to drawings for specific work required. |
