Description

Peppermill Bus Rapid Station Project For questions about the bid process, please contact Denise Thompson [ph: (775) 335-1826; email: dthompson@rtcwashoe.com]. Prospective Bidders must be Contractors presently licensed under the Nevada State Law for the type of work specified herein. Every Bid shall be accompanied by a Surety Company Bid Bond, or by a Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Regional Transportation Commission in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid, said amount to be forfeited to the RTC should the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into a Contract in accordance with the Bid and other Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days after award. Prevailing wage rates for Washoe County shall be posted on the work site and paid to all classifications of labor as required by the laws of the State of Nevada. The work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced by the successful Bidder after the executed Contract Documents have been submitted, and within five (5) calendar days of the commencement date set forth in the Notice to Proceed (NTP). An initial NTP (NTP #1) will be released after execution of Contract Documents to commence project kickoff and material procurement and a second NTP (NTP #2) will be issued for project construction services. The work, including any and all alternates and options, shall be completed within One Hundred (100) working days after the commencement date set forth in the second Notice to Proceed (NTP #2). The right is reserved to reject any and all Bids or accept the Bid that is deemed by the RTC to be in the best interest of the RTC. The RTC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all alternates or options or any combination thereof. The RTC also reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or informalities in the submitted Bid Forms. Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost: $1,400,000 - $1,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
