Description

The work of the project is specific to the Dog Kennel buildings, separate from the main facility, defined by the Contract Documents, which consists of the following: 1. Cracking in concrete slabs shall be chased and filled with a non-porous flexible crack/joint fill consisting of a 100% solids epoxy material. This process will entail widening existing cracks with a crack-chasing blade, thoroughly cleaning of debris, and filling with the above-mentioned fill material. 2. Bottom 3/8" grout joints at all perimeter CMU walls and at all glazed block and/or CMU kennel enclosure walls shall be prepped as required and to accept a new solid-color epoxy sealant. 3. Seal exterior dog kennel corridors with a two high-build, low-solvent, high-solids sealer with antislip aggregate broadcast into coatings. This process will include the appropriate degreasing and drying of the slab prior to the application of the above-mentioned material. 4. Install 2" epoxy grout cant strip, sealed with resinous flooring material, at each side of Dog Kennel demising wall. 5. All the above indicated work and cleanup shall be completed in its entirety, as applicable, in the four (4) phases indicated on the drawings.
