Construction of Water Plant No. 1 - Ground Storage Tank & Surface Water Metering Station Additions

The work includes all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of one (1) 500,000-gallon precast, prestressed concrete ground storage tank and foundation; one (1) surface water pressure reducing and flow control metering station; approximately 1,600 linear feet of 12-inch (12”) surface waterline extension from the City of Houston direct connection at Beltway 8 and Wilson Road; disinfection improvements; associated plant piping, valves, fittings, thrust blocks and pipe supports; site grading and drainage; protective coatings for all facilities; applying a cold galvanizing spray to the GST No. 1 sample tap connection; removing and replacing the safety climb on the interior ladder of GST No. 1; removing and replacing the vent screens on GST No. 1; touch-up coating the HPT Nos. 1 & 2 drain line blind flanges; hydro-mulch seeding; and all required electrical and instrumentation work; including all incidental components as shown on the construction drawings and contract documents for a completely functional water plant facility.
