2022 Collection System Rehabilitation

The Project generally includes the following Work: Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of 8-inch sanitary sewer main along Jones Hill and South Street, conventional replacement of 12-inch and 15-inch sanitary sewer mains along Colewell Street, and injection grout repairs to two manholes on Nichols Road. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. The Supplementary Conditions set forth requirements for the payment by the Contractor and its Subcontractors of minimum wage rates for all classes of laborers and mechanics as set forth by the General Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the New York Department of Labor, Article 8 Public Work, as applicable to the Work. Davis Bacon wage rates also apply to this contract. Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents.
