| Description | The Work of this Contract provides for the design and fabrication of fiber reinforced polymer platform panels to replace existing hollow core plank platform panels at Wayne Junction Station and includes the following: 1. Design of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) panels including but not limited to: a. FRP panels b. Connections to the existing structure c. Reinforcement and connection details for attaching appurtenances (lights, benches, signs, shelter) d. Reinforcement and connection details for external panel-to-panel plates e. Lifting locations and methods 2. Fabrication of FRP panels, connections, rubbing edge, tactile warning surfacing, FRP sleeves for sealing cored bolt holes, external panel-to-panel plates and anchorage, and compression seals. 3. Delivery of FRP panels and connections, rubbing edge, tactile warning surfacing, FRP sleeves for sealing cored bolt holes, external panel-to-panel plates and anchorage, and compression seals. |
