Description | For the FDOT SCOP Funded S.W. Hull Avenue Road Improvement Project as described within the context of this bid. DeSoto County is in receipt of Small County Outreach Program Funding for improvements to SW Hull Avenue from SW Senate Street to SR 35 (US 17). The proposed project improvements includes asphalt resurfacing of the existing roadway, cross drain and side drain replacement, road-widening at existing railroad crossing, shoulder work, driveway aprons, striping and sod restoration. The allowable contract time for this project will be determined as follows: CONTRACT TIME All questions must be submitted in writing by January 11, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. The Contractor shall be allowed 170 Total Calendar Days for Substantial Completion and 30 additional Calendar Days (200 Total Calendar Days) for Final Completion. Substantial Completion shall be defined as all work excluding sodding and pavement striping. Only sod installation and pavement striping shall be performed in the 30 days period between Substantial and Final Completion. Basis of Award The basis of award shall be the lowest responsive/responsible bidder as calculated by the total of all items included in the Base Bid.
