St. Clair County Pandemic Response Center, Odenville, Alabama Scope of Work: The project consists of a new 12,080 GSA pre-engineered metal building. The PEMB includes 4,000 SF of conditioned storage area, 1,920 SF of office space with mezzanine above, and the remaining square footage will be ventilated storage space. The new PEMB will be constructed adjacent/abutted to an existing office building that will remain in operation during construction. Other sets for general contractors, and sets for subcontractors and dealers, may be obtained with the same deposit, which will be refunded as above, less cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the office of Williams Blackstock Architects at 2204 1st Avenue South, Suite 200, Birmingham, AL 35233 starting on September 2 , 2022. Each bid must be submitted on the Bid Form(s) provided in the Bid Documents along with the other documents required, including but not limited to the E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding, Certificate of Compliance with the Beason-Hammon Act, and insurance information. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the St. Clair County Commission in an amount not less than of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Please note that if your bid amount is over $50,000.00 you must provide a copy of your general contractor's license. The envelope containing the vendors bid must be sealed and contain on the face of the envelope the word "BID", the name of the Project, Bidder's Name, License Number, Classification and Expiration Date. The bid must contain evidence of Bidder's authority and qualification to perform the work in the state where the Project is located, or covenant to obtain such qualification prior to award of the Contract. Bids will not be accepted without the license number present on the front of the envelope. Bids received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered, and will be returned unopened. The St. Clair County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received, and to accept the bid deemed by it to be the most advantageous to its interests.
