Veolia Water/MMSD participation goals for SWMBE are: Minority-owned Business - 13% Small Business/Veteran-owned Business - 5% Women-owned Business - 2% The overall SWMBE goal is twenty (20) percent The power and associated control wires to four valves at the CT01 control station are in need of replacement. The power and control wires that shall be replaced run from the control building down to the Northwest Side Remote Storage (NWSRS). The existing wiring extends to the valve pit through multiple 2" conduit. Only two of the four sets of power wires are not operating properly and are not opening valve #2 (FV-120) and valve #3 (FV-130). Since it is impractical the remove only these two bundles of damaged wiring from the conduit, all four groups of wiring shall be replaced. The control wires for the valves are just as old as the power wires, and therefore will be replaced during this process as well. |
