CHIC 313113 - Pavement Improvements - Solicitation, Chickasaw National Recreation Area a) This acquisition is being conducted with a Total Small Business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code and the associated small business size standard are noted in clause 52.204-8 in section "K" of this solicitation. b) Estimated Price Range: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 per FAR 36.204 c) Refer to section "L" for information regarding a pre-proposal site visit. d) Information and requirements stated in sections "B" through "J" & attachments noted in section "J" apply to this solicitation and the subsequent contract. e) Refer to section "L" for proposal submittal requirements. f) This is currently an unfunded requirement with a high expectation that funds will be available. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The work of this contract is for the construction and preservation of roads within Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Project Location: Pavement preservation project located in the Chickasaw National Recreational Area (CHIC), along Point Road (Rt. 0013AZ), Point Campground Road (Rt. 0204), Point Campground Road loop roads (Rt 0204), Buckhorn Road (Rt. 0011), and Cedar Blue Entrance Road (Rt. 0100), Sulphur, Murray County, Oklahoma. Reference the drawings for the exact location of the project area. The Work includes rehabilitation of paving surfaces, including but not limited to; mill and overlay of failing pavement, asphalt removal, transition mill, aggregate topsoil shoulder work and shoulder grading, aggregate topsoil aprons and areas, full or partial depth patching as necessary, utility structures are to be protected or reset when necessary, remove and replace concrete headwall and RCP culvert, addition of geotechnical fabric, striping and other pavement markings, snow plowable raised pavement markers, remove and replace loop sensors, new loop sensors, replacement of MUTCD sign panels (not posts), drainage swales, and in addition to the specified erosion, tree and traffic control measures, the Contractor is to provide and advertise the work on a variable message signs.
