Pursuant to the City of Asheville's Procurement, Purchasing and Contracting Policy, Proposals will be received by the City of Asheville for the following: Description of Work: The City of Asheville, North Carolina is requesting proposals for pumping, dredging, conditioning, and dewatering of water treatment residuals (sludge) and the removal and disposal of produced solids from the North Fork, William DeBruhl, and Mills River Water Treatment Facilities. The intent of this project is to remove to the fullest extent possible the accumulated sludge from the three (3) listed Water Treatment Facilities' Backwash Lagoons. The City of Asheville is looking for the best proposed means by which to accomplish the tasks. This group will visit each of the City of Asheville water treatment plants to view the work sites, so please plan for a whole day.
