Read House Demolition

Abatement of asbestos located in and on the structure. Provided in the reference section is an asbestos survey conducted by HZW. It indicates materials and locations that contain asbestos materials. Material are to be removed per all regulatory agency requirements. Demolition of the entire structure, including but not limited to: roofing, siding, post and beam structure, platform structure, all interior finishes, exterior porches, railings, ramps and stairs, masonry and stone foundations, footings, mechanical, plumbing and electrical. All materials are to be removed from the site. Electric service to the house is to be terminated and refed to the accessory structure at the rear of the property. The excavation of the building demolition is to be backfilled to 98 percent compaction. Areas disturbed by the demolition is to be reseeded. Prior to demolition, the rhododendrons at the perimeter of the building are to be protected.
