Description | The overall building footprint shall be between 8,000 – 10,000 square feet. Office space shall consist of eight (8) offices, one (1) large meeting room, one (1) conference room, one (1) patient exam room, one (1) room for freezers for vaccine storage, restrooms, a data server room, and a break area. The storage area portion of the building should contain approximately 800-1,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage with the remaining areas insulated, but without HVAC systems installed. The non-climate-controlled storage area shall allow for access and storage of semitractor/van trailers. The building parcel (approximately 1.25 acres) was included in the original Bremer County Fairgrounds (SWPPP) plan. Adequate retention space is available on adjacent parcel owned by the Bremer County Fair, but will require connections via intakes and drainage tile. It is undetermined at this time if this project will require a stand alone SWPPP plan, but for estimating anticipated fees, this should be accounted for and reflected in price structure of proposals. Once an agreement for services has been executed, Bremer County shall anticipate conceptual drawings completed and presented to the Board of Supervisors within ninety (90) days. Upon concept approval, construction documents and plans shall be readied for approval with an anticipated bid letting date no-later-than February (1 st ), 2024. Construction completion date shall be no later than October (31 st ), 2024. Bremer County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Successful firm shall not discriminate against any person in accordance with federal, state, or local laws. |
