Systemwide Power Generators Maintenance

The Miami-Dade County Expressway Authority ("MDX" or "Authority") is requesting individual sealed Bid Package(s) in response to this Invitation to Bid ("ITB") from Contractors with the necessary qualifications, expertise and resources to provide the Work required for Systemwide Power Generators Maintenance (the Work) and to deliver the Project in accordance with the Specifications and requirements of the Agreement as detailed herein. This Procurement Process is under the Cone of Silence. Please refer to the section entitled Communications for further information concerning the Cone of Silence. Bidders shall submit a sealed Bid Package in response to the Solicitation Documents. The Bid Package shall include associated costs for the completion of the Work and the requirements as detailed in the Solicitation Documents. MDX will utilize the services of consultants to assist MDX in providing contract administration, and management services related to the Work. The selected Contractor shall make available the necessary personnel, facilities, supplies, materials and resources to perform the Work. The Work shall commence upon receipt of a written Notice to Proceed and issuance of a Work Order from MDX. MDX reserves the right to make changes by increasing, decreasing and/or modifying the Work as detailed in the Contract Documents. The purpose of the Solicitation Documents is to provide Bidders with guidelines and rules of engagement in order to maintain a transparent and competitive process. The Solicitation Documents also provide Bidders with necessary information in order to submit a responsive Bid Package. Questions shall be submitted in writing via either e-mail, fax, mail or hand delivery to the contact person (the "MDX Procurement Agent") as permitted pursuant to the sections entitled Schedule of Events and Communications. Any Bid Packages submitted via e-mail or facsimile shall not be accepted and shall be rejected.
