Construction Quality Assurance (QA) Inspection Services

The Contractor shall furnish Construction Quality Assurance (QA) Inspection Services, as necessary, within the area of responsibility of the St. Paul District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The majority of the work will be located within a 30-mile radius of Fargo, North Dakota but the services may be required anywhere within the District boundaries. The Contractor shall provide all services, materials, plant, labor, and equipment (except that specified to be Government-furnished) required to perform the work under task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. The type of jobs on which quality assurance inspection shall be required will include, but are not limited to: levees, channels, drainage structures, fish passages, hydraulic gate installation and testing, stone placement, bank stabilization, parking lots, concrete and bituminous roads, water control structures, pump station and building construction. Quality assurance activities that may be required includes but is not limited to reading plans/specifications, monitoring, documenting, and reporting on construction contractor quality control activities, safety, submittal tracking and review, and communicating with the responsible Government personnel.
