Zone 9 - Statewide Leaking Well Plugging and Restoration Work

**As of August 29, 2022, this project has been awarded to LR Russell oil Producers $17,720.32 and Bangert Well Service,Inc $18,468.00. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources requires the services of suitably qualified Vendors to properly perform plugging and restoration work on multiple sites in Jackson, Jefferson, Monroe, Perry, Randolph and Washington Counties, Illinois. Is this a Small Business Set Aside Procurement: No Is there a BEP/VBP Participation Goal : No Rotary Rig - TRANSPORTATION: Rig mileage will be paid for one round trip only. The mileage cost shall be for the shortest distance along U. S. or State highways from the CONTRACTOR'S home office to the emergency project site. Non-Rotary Rig - TRANSPORTATION: Rig mileage will be paid for one round trip only. The mileage cost shall be for the shortest distance along U. S. or State highways from the CONTRACTOR'S home office to the emergency project site. Pickup Truck - TRANSPORTATION: Paid for on an as needed basis. The mileage cost shall be for the shortest distance along U. S. or State highways from the CONTRACTOR'S home office to the emergency project site. Utility Truck - TRANSPORTATION: Paid for on an as needed basis. The mileage cost shall be for the shortest distance along U. S. or State highways from the CONTRACTOR'S home office to the emergency project site. Dump Truck - TRANSPORTATION: Paid for on an as needed basis. General Description and Location of the Project (For Bidding Purposes Only) - The Plugging Contractor will properly plug the leaking well and restore the well site of the "sample job" located Section 36, Township 07N, Range 13W "any" County IL. There is a large depression (15ft by 20ft) at the well location. The depression is full of contaminated fluids, enlarging and overflowing onto the land surface. Well is leaking oil and salt water onto the land surface. The well is located on the banks of the North Fork Saline River and the leaking fluids are migrating to the river. If well continues to leak there is a great possibility of contamination to blue line stream
