Description

This project is located in southeast Ohio at Tycoon Lake Wildlife Area; N 38°55'42.51", W 82°20'51.03". To reach Tycoon Lake Dam from Rio Grande, take State Route 325 north for 1.0 mile, turn right onto State Route 554 for 2.0 miles, turn left on Tycoon Rd for 1.6 miles to arrive on site. The project involves excavation and replacement of failed embankment material on the downstream slope, construction of an auxiliary spillway near the left abutment, slip-lining the existing spillway, installation of seepage berm, and improvements to the lake drain structure.
