Description | for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work necessary for the REHABILITATE ENTRANCE ROAD project at the Zanesville Municipal Airport. Work items include the full depth reclamation of the airport entrance road with a new asphalt surface course. The engineer's cost estimate for this project is $390,000. Site visits may be coordinated with Mr. James Witte, Airport Manager, at 740.455.0663. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount stated and payable to the order of the Owner. The Bid security shall be in the form of either A. A Bid Bond for the full amount of the Bid issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Ohio, or B. Bids may be held by the City of Zanesville for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as City of Zanesville may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received. The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, apply to this contract. It is the policy of the City of Zanesville to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this contract. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act as amended.
