Eastern Lake Road Municipal Parking

The Eastern Lake Road Municipal Parking consists of 0.48 acres located on Eastern Lake Road between May Drive and Dalton Drive within the county limits of Walton County. The project is situated on two adjacent parcels which are currently owned by Walton County. The owner wishes to develop the two parcels into a parking area for beach access. Improvements to the site include parking facilities, sidewalks, stormwater management facilities and landscaping. Last date to submit questions is November 30th, 2022, no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to waljames@co.walton.fl.us. DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. Bidder is responsible for the delivery of its bid. Bids received after the specified day and time will not be opened. Contractor shall substantially complete the Project within ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (150) calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Final completion of the project shall be accomplished within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date a punch list of the remaining items to be completed is issued by the County. Failure to achieve substantial completion within the designated time may result in the County imposing liquidated damages in the amount of ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETY-SIX AND 00/100THS DOLLARS ($1,196.00) per day. Failure to achieve final completion within the designated time may result in the imposition of liquidated damages of FIVE HUNDRED NINETY-EIGHT AND 00/100THS DOLLARS ($598.00) per calendar day and shall accrue until Application for Final Payment has been approved by the County
