Letting: 04230505 Call Order: 009 Proposal: E4W58 District:04 Counties: Palm Beach Road Name: SR-802/Lake Worth Road Roundabout Pedestrian - Safety Limits: 93000030 Project(s): 44004615201(*) Federal Aid No: N/A Total Roadway Length: 1.069 Miles Contract Days: 175 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 1.069 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 120 The Improvements under this Contract consist of, but are not limited to, MOT (standard, traffic control officer, temporary signalization and maintenance, temporary traffic detection and maintenance), environmental (inlet protection, tree and branch pruning, tree removal), earthwork (geosynthetic reinforced soils foundation), concrete (removal, curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, prestressed pole), asphalt (milling, resurfacing), utilities adjustments (manhole, valve box), signing (single-post, multipost, panel, beacon), pavement markings (patterned pavement, detectable warnings, delineator, RPM, painted, thermoplastic, bike lane), lighting (conductors, luminaire, pole complete), signalization (signal cable, aluminum pole, steel mast arm, vehicular signal and auxiliaries, pedestrian signal and detector, midblock RRFB, detection loop), electrical (power service, service wire), conduit, pull/splice box, fencing, sod, and irrigation system modifications along State Road 802 (Lake Worth Road) from north of Erie Street to A Street (the Lake Worth Road/A Street/Lake Avenue/Lucerne Avenue roundabout, inclusive), and then along Lucerne Avenue to C Street, for 0.417 miles in the City of Lake Worth Beach, Palm Beach County. PRE-QUALIFIED: Contractor needs to be pre-qualified. PERFORMANCE BOND: A Contract / Performance bond is required for this project. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects. All work is to be done in accordance with the Plans, special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation.
