| Description | Base Bid 1 - Runway 10-28 Pavement Rehabilitation. The base bid involves the rehabilitation of the existing runway 10-28 pavement by asphalt mill and overlay. The runway is 170 ft wide by 8,000 ft long. The runway rehabilitation also includes installation of runway marking, pipe lining, ditch filling, grading, and piping. Bid Additive 1 - Runway 10-28 Shoulder Rehabilitation. This bid additive includes full depth reconstruction of 15 ft shoulder pavement on each side of runway 10-28. Bid Additive 2 - Runway Blast Pad & Turnaround. This bid additive consists of construction of a 200 ft X 200 ft asphalt blast pad at the end of runway 28, the rehabilitation and widening of an existing blast pad at the end of runway 10, pavement rehabilitation of a turnaround area and associated drainage improvements including aerification of drainage areas. Bid Additive 3 - Runway 10-28 Safety Area Improvements. This bid additive involves regrading of existing runway 10-28 safety areas to meet current FAA standards. | ||||||
