Description | Construction of Animal Services Center Mesilla Valley (ASCMV) New Adoption Center as well as the Rinconada and Burn Lake Dog Parks. The ASCMV New Adoption Center and the Rinconada Dog park will be located at 3551 Bataan Memorial West, Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Burn Lake Dog Park is located within the Burn Lake Park at 855 Amador Avenue, Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Work consists of the furnishing of all labor, material, services, equipment and appliances required for the fabrication, delivery and erection of all items of work as detailed in the Contract Documents including Base Bid and Bid Lots for The New Adoption Center, Rinconada Dog Park, and Burn Lake Dog Park. a. The proposed ASCMV New Adoption Center will be located next to the existing ASCMV Animal Service Center. The New Adoption Center includes the Main Adoption Center, Sally Port, and Four (4) Dog Pods to enhance the operational needs of the ASCMV. The New Adoption Center will attempt LEED (Certified) Certification. b. The proposed utility relocation includes the relocation of the water and gas main utility lines at the corner of Rinconada Blvd. and Bataan Memorial West for the development and use of ASCMV New Adoption Center. c. The proposed Rinconada Dog Park will be located northwest of the New Adoption Center on Rinconada Blvd and will add approximately 1 acre of new public dog park space. The Rinconada Dog Park is separate and distinct project from the ASCMV New Adoption Center and the Burn Lake Dog Park. d. The Proposed Burn Lake Dog Park will be located within the existing Burn Lake Park, southeast of the existing soccer fields and will add approximately 1 acre of new dog park space. Though the Burn Lake Dog Park is at a different location it is part of the same project as New Adoption Center and the Rinconada Dog Park. |
