Description

The Design Build Contractor shall provide A-E design services for the preparation of drawings and specifications for the project scope. Project is to design and construct, with cultural considerations outlined in the Planning Documents provided, a new 48,675 gross square foot K-8 school that serves 125 students and the renovation of building 2103. Renovation of building 2103 will result in a 2,251 GSF Facilities Maintenance Facility, consisting of a 1,751sf maintenance office/shop space and 500 sf of general\ storage. The remaining portion of the concrete building slab shall be cleaned and left in place. The design build project also includes demolition of existing buildings identified in the Planning Document and Conceptual Design and relocation of existing portable buildings currently used for existing educational program and site work as described in the Planning Document and Conceptual Design. The Design Build Contractor will have the option of leaving the existing portables in place, if the Design Build Contractor can complete design and construction of the new facility without relocating the portable buildings. There are four approximately 1,800sf portable classrooms and one portable kitchen/dining portable approximately 2,800 sf.
