Description

This project is for the replacement of the emergency backup generator (rated capacity of 500kW at 480V), 24V Float Battery Charger, GE Zenith 800 amp 3 pole bypass Transfer Switch and a 100 gallon Day Tank at the DSW Phoenix Office campus. In Dec 2020, the existing generator will be 30 years old and will be at the end of its expected lifecycle. This increases the chances that the unit will fail during an emergency when power has been lost. This generator powers DSW's critical infrastructure however, it does not have the capacity to power the entire facility. The unit KW capability should be increased to handle the entire facilities load as to not interfere with their operation. Please see the attached Statement of Work and photos of current generator and facility for details.
