Description

Bids for the Southern Boulevard Restoration project. For this project, the existing asphalt roadway surface shall be removed by milling, excavating six inches of the existing sub-grade material, preparing the subgrade, placing new base course, and paving with either HMA SP-III or WMA SP-III from approximately 15th Street SE to Rainbow Boulevard. In addition, the contractor shall crack seal and place a slurry seal application on Southern Boulevard from approximately 15th Street SE to Unser Boulevard, and construct a new right turn lane on westbound Southern Boulevard at the intersection of Baltic Avenue. New compliant ADA curb ramps will also be constructed throughout the project. The overall project limits are from Rainbow Boulevard to Unser Boulevard along Southern Boulevard.
