Description

: In general terms, the intent of this project is to construct an asphalt walking path at the Alpena CRTC to include but not limited to: - The base bid shall include site work, aggregate subbase, gravel base course, and 2" HMA surface for a 16,800 SF walking path (approximately 2100' x 8') area. - The walking path shall be constructed to support light vehicular traffic to include sedans pickups and vans. The walking path shall be sloped to drain with MDOT requirement for positive drainage. The walking path shall be as level as possible and sloped transversely to prevent ponding. The asphalt walking path shall have mixture design and constructed using current MDOT standard specifications for construction. - The base bid shall include site work aggregate subbase, gravel base course, and 2" HMA bituminous surface for a 16,800 SF (approximately 2100 LF), 8 FT wide. To connect the existing walking path north of River Club Rd. with parking lot and sidewalk at Building 132. The walking path shall be created to support typical vehicles to include sedans, pickups and vans. The walking path shall be crowned and sloped to drain with the minimum MDOT requirement for positive drainage. The roadway shall have a mixture design and constructed using current MDOT standard specifications for construction.
