Description | As of May 15,2023, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. Request for Proposal Concrete Privacy Wall Project Description We seek a proposal for the design and build of a 6' tall concrete wall, running approximately 6,000+ feet along the boundary of the Pueblo of Santa Ana and west side of New Mexico State Road 313, from roughly mile marker 10 to 11. Exact start and end points will be shown at mandatory Pre-Bid meeting outlined below. Design Requirements Wall is to be concrete or equal material that will be durable, resist impact damage, provide separation and privacy to the Pueblo lands. Bidders are encouraged to submit a bid for a simple finish concrete wall, and if able an additional bid includes any design consideration for aesthetics and noise control. Technical and Infrastructure Requirements Design and engineering of wall will state grade, thickness and finish of concrete, size of all footings and size and grade of all reinforcement material. A cross section of proposed wall with this detail will be included with submission. Submission will state expected lifespan of wall and any maintenance requirements. Vendor will specify steps taken for testing of concrete and will provide all such reports to the Pueblo. Vendor will be responsible for any required notifications and coordination with local or state highway departments for construction issues that may affect NM 313 traffic. Functional Requirements No gates are required, and wall will be open at all crossing roadways with existing setbacks. Bidder will be responsible for establishing all requirements regarding the appropriate placement of the wall to comply with any non-Pueblo right-of-way issues, any utility crossings, easements, etc. Design must not encroach on NM 313 right-of-way and awarded vendor will accept all responsibility for ensuring this is complied with. Awarded Vendor will meet with Pueblo officials regarding all final placement, design, and scheduling. Vendor will be responsible for any and all right of way issues and permitting. Estimated Project Duration Submissions will include proposed time frame for completion and outline all requirements for restrictions to traffic on Pueblo lands, impact to homes and lands adjacent to construction area. Agreements The Pueblo of Santa Ana reserves the right to reject any or all bids that are determined to be incomplete or insufficient by our sole judgement. For Additional Information or Clarification Contact Joe Lorenc, Purchasing Manager, joe.lorenc@santaana-nsn.gov , 505-771-6728. Basis for Award of Contract These factors will be considered in final award decision: 1) Appeal of conceptual design vs. cost as determined by Pueblo of Santa Ana Governing Council or their designees; 2) Proposed Proposal cost; 3) Reputation and ability of selected winner to deliver final product. Anticipated Selection Schedule It is anticipated that bid will be awarded by May 8, 2023. |
