Griffin Street and Grant Street Drainage Project

Question Deadline 11/02/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Bidder should direct questions to Doug Wimberly, P.E. of Neel-Schaffer, Inc. (doug.wimberly@neelschaffer.com) 707 Watts Avenue, Suite C, Pascagoula, MS 39567. Written questions may be submitted by mail to the address shown above, by e-mail or FAX. The question period will end 7 calendar days prior to the bid opening date. The City of Moss Point reserves the right to accept or reject any bids. If bids are submitted electronically, the same requirements for submitting sealed bids shall apply. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Payment and Performance Bond if the bid equals or exceeds $25,000. If the bid is less than $25,000, the City of Moss Point may elect to make a lump sum payment at the completion of the job, in which case a payment and performance bond shall not be required. Proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid. Contract time shall be 90 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed Date. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter in the amount of Five Hundred dollars ($500.00).
