Water System Improvements for 2022 Greene County Water Infrastructure Grant/Program Newport Highway Phase Two Separate sealed Bids for the construction of: Water System Improvements for 2022 Greene County Water Infrastructure Grant/ Program Newport Highway Phase Two The work to be bid on is as follows: Installation of approximately 7,745 linear feet of 6 DR 14 C900 PVC water main, 300 linear feet of 4 water main, 140 linear feet of 3 water main, and 20 linear feet of 2 water main including connections, and all associated appurtenances. The allotted time for construction is 180 calendar days, The construction time will commence after the notice to proceed is issued due to the unknown availability of pipe and materials. Bidders that do not, will have their bid rejected. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids, The Glen Hills Utility District and Greene County reserves the right to award the bid for the project to the lowest responsible bidder, and reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 (Latest revisions), Bidders name, address, license number, license limit, expiration date and that part of classification which applies to the Project(s) and the name, address and licensing information for Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical Contractors must be on the sealed envelope containing the executed Bid Proposal. All required items must be listed, with any item(s) that are not applicable to the Project in accordance with the Regulations to be marked not applicable to this project, In compliance with the act* sealed envelopes will not be opened unless all required information is properly displayed, Glen Hills Utility District Gary Hoese, This project consists of approximately 7,280 linear feet of 6-inch C-900 PVC, 149 linear feet of 4-inch CL-350 DIP, and 125 linear feet of 3-inch SDR-17 PVC water lines with all related appurtenances.
