Re-roofing Project at Hazelwood Elementary School

Per addendum 1 bid dated extended to 4/10/23 Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only. Official sets must be obtained from McKee and Associates. All General Contractors biddingthis project shall be required tovisit the site and examine all existing conditions prior to submitting their proposal. All Biddersshall have general liability andworkman's compensation insurance. The project shall be bid excludingtaxes. Bids must be submitted onproposal forms furnished by theArchitect or copies thereof. Nobid may be withdrawn afterscheduled closing for receipt ofbids for a period of ninety (90)days. The Owner reserves theright to reject any or all proposalsand to waive technical errors if, inthe Owners judgment, the bestinterests of the Owner willthereby be promoted. the bid, but in no eventmore than $10,000.00 must accompany the bidder's sealed proposal. Performance and statutorylabor and material paymentbonds will be required at thesigning of the Contract. All bidders bidding in amountsexceeding that established bythe State Licensing Board forGeneral Contractors must be licensed under the provisions ofTitle 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before biddingor bid will not be received or considered by the Architect. All bidders shall show such evidenceby clearly displaying current license number on the outside ofsealed envelope in which theproposal is delivered. Also, ifyou are not receiving NOTIFICATIONS from us, please registeron our website, "Project Bid List"by selecting manage your bid listprofile. The documents may beviewed on-line and printed byGeneral Contractors, Sub Contractors and Suppliers. Documents published through thisprocedure are the only documents endorsed by the Architect.The Architect is unable to monitor, confirm and maintain otherwebsites that provide documents. Addendums will be provided to entities that haveCONFIRMED bidding for thisparticular project. The Architectretains ownership and copyrightsof the documents. If bidders require printed sets, please submitrequest to the architect at mckeeplans@gmail.Com and includeyour first & last name, companyname, address, phone numberand the project name. All rfis and rfas regarding thebid documents shall be sent andaddressed through emails foundon the rfi and rfa forms in theproject manual.
