| Description | Construction of approximately 19,900-ft of subsurface agricultural drains. Work includes: removal and control of water; furnishing and laying drainage pipe using trenching machine; furnishing and installing precast concrete manholes; furnishing and installing corrugated metal pipe drain outfalls; furnishing and placing erosion control material; clearing and grubbing; fence removal and repair; concrete irrigation ditch removal and repair; and site restoration by replacing top soil. Trenching machine must be able to lay 6- to 24-inch diameter perforated and non-perforated HDPE drain pipe, with shielded excavation capable of installing drain pipe and gravel envelope in one pass; requires laser grade control for tight tolerances on the slope/installation of the drain pipe. | ||||||
