Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at the Office of Keller Associates, at 305 N 3rd Ave Suite A, Pocatello, ID 83201 for DPW Project 21452, Communication Site, Public Safety Communication (PSC), Blackfoot, Idaho. Include removal of existing communications tower, and installation of a new contractor-provided tower including tower foundation, ice bridge, electrical grounding loop, and general site work. Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date. There will be a Pre-Bid Conference prevailing local time, at Keller Associates' office at 305 N. 3rd Ave. Suite A Pocatello, Idaho 83201. Bidders are encouraged to attend. One set of Bidding Documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed electrical subcontractors from the Engineer for a refundable deposit of $50.00. Or Bidding Documents may be purchased for $15.00 and downloaded at the following designated website, QuestCDN: Others may obtain documents at cost, non-refundable. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with QuestCDN as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or other source. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include removal of existing communications tower, and installation of a new contractor-provided tower including tower foundation, ice bridge, electrical grounding loop, and general site work. Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum.
