Description | The replacement of the existing waste water treatment plant with a sanitary sewer pump station and force main. This will include demolition and removal of the existing waste water treatment facility and installation of pumps, pump equipment, pump controls, prefabricated pump station building, force main sanitary line, air/vacuum release valves and manholes, seeding and site restoration, maintenance of traffic, and other related items. All Work is to be performed as per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents for this Project. The Small Business Enterprise (DBE/EDGE/SBE) Goal applicable to this Project is 10% ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED THROUGH 8:00 A.M. ON MARCH 6, 2023 Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by the Commission. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply to this Project. The Small Business Enterprise (DBE/EDGE/SBE) Goal applicable to this Project is 10%. Failure to certify a commitment to meet the SBE Goal or failure to satisfactorily demonstrate Good Faith Efforts used to attain SBE participation for this project shall be grounds for the Commission to consider the Bid nonresponsive and may cause the Bid to be rejected. Pollution Liability Insurance is required under GC Art. 12.1.3 for this Project. Bids will be received for this Project, which includes the following: The replacement of the existing waste water treatment plant with a sanitary sewer pump station and force main. This will include demolition and removal of the existing waste water treatment facility and installation of pumps, pump equipment, pump controls, prefabricated pump station building, force main sanitary line, air/vacuum release valves and manholes, seeding and site restoration, maintenance of traffic, and other related items. All Work is to be performed as per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents for this Project. A Contract will be awarded, if any award be made, to the Bidder determined to have submitted the lowest responsive and responsible Bid for the performance of the Work. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor irregularities or technical deficiencies. Bidders should submit all questions no later than seven (7) days prior to Bid Opening. |
