Ft. = +/- 19,835 Sq. Ft. CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS: Contractors must submit their questions in writing to Susan Guida of ARMM (susan@armmassociates.com) no later than 3:00PM on January 31, 2023. Addendum will be issued on or about February 2, 2023. Bids must be made on proposal forms in a manner designated, enclosed in a separate sealed envelope with name and address of bidder and work bid upon noted on the outside, and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified or Cashier's drawn to the order of the Board of Education for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Bids must be delivered to the Secretary of the Board of Education on or before the hour named. The Board of Education assumes no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. The bidders and subcontractors must be pre-qualified by the NJ Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), as well as the NJ Schools Development Authority (NJSDA) in the proper classifications for the scope of work identified; contractors must have valid and current Notices of Classification prior to the bid due date. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Board of Education to do so. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A.18A:18A-1 et. seq., pertaining to the "Public School Contracts Law". Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, Chapter 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27).
