Electronic Security System Full Preventative Maintenance Services

PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND PURPOSE: The State of North Carolina, Department of Health and Human Services (hereinafter referred to as the DEPARTMENT) has issued this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to obtain fair, reasonable, and acceptable pricing for and to establish an agency specific term contract with a Vendor for the acquisition of an all-inclusive full-service preventative maintenance service contract for existing security equipment on behalf of the Division of Public Health, Six Forks Campus facilities located at 5505, 5601 and 5605 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. CONTRACT TERM The Contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning on July 1, 2022 (the "Effective Date"). At the end of the Contract's initial term, the State shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to two (2) additional one-year terms. The State will give the Vendor written notice of its intent to exercise each option no later than ninety (90) days before the end of the Contract's then-current term. In addition to any optional renewal terms, and with the Vendor's concurrence, the State reserves the right to extend the Contract after the last active term.
